IT Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Work with CTO to plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog.
- Working with CTO & IT Team Leads to define and establish project objectives, scope, roadmap, milestones, and deliverables as applicable and aligned to delivery strategy. Producing well-defined technical delivery plans that outline key project activities, their sequence, and delivery timelines.
- Work with CTO to gain deep domain knowledge across various analytics and transactional products and lead client technical implementations.
- Lead regular working group sessions with the technical team, clients, and business stakeholders to identify and track actions effectively to support the project plan.
- Work and interact with Clients and tailor their needs to requirements, workflows, etc.
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
- Run regular status meetings with IT Leads on project deliverables and identify roadblocks.
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information weekly.
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties, like Business, IT, and clients, are informed of the impacts on schedule and timeline.
- Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
- Identifying and developing plans to resolve issues or new opportunities with clients.
- Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
- Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management and understanding of project lifecycle and SDLC.
- Experience in managing projects in Agile and Waterfall methodologies is helpful.
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Experience as IT project manager
- Ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
- Understanding of SAAS based projects.
- Out-of-the-box thinker with creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, oral/written communication, and multitasking skills.
